Sperris Quoit

Sperris Quoit is a ruined megalithic burial chamber (dolmen) dating to 5000–3000 BC, one of a unique tomb type found only in West Penwith, Cornwall[1]. Located on exposed moorland roughly 365 metres northeast of Zennor Quoit, it sits midway between Zennor and Amalveor[1]. As the northernmost quoit in the Penwith peninsula, it represents an increasingly rare example of Neolithic chambered tomb architecture in southwest Britain[1]. The monument, a Scheduled Monument, has been dated variously to the Late- or Post-Neolithic periods[1][2].
