Qasr Sagha Temple

Qasr el-Sagha is an Egyptian temple complex located 8 km north of Lake Qarun in Faiyum Governorate, situated on a low protrusion at the foot of Qatrany mountain in an abandoned area [1]. The temple contains seven chambers spread across approximately 180 meters [1]. Constructed of limestone and sandstone blocks, the structure was never completed [2]. A Middle Kingdom cemetery lies to the south of the temple [1]. The site is believed to be dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god of ancient Egypt [1].
