Tell Yunatsite

Tell Yunatsite (Ploskata mogila) is a multi-period archaeological tell in Pazardzhik Province, southern Bulgaria, located 8 km west of Pazardzhik[1]. The mound rises 12 m above modern ground level and spans 110 m in diameter[1]. Situated on a low terrace at the former Topolnitsa riverbed near its confluence with the Maritsa River, the site contains layers from the Copper Age (associated with the Karanovo culture), Early Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, and Medieval periods[1].
