Church of Saint George, Sofia

The Church of Saint George is a Late Antique red brick rotunda in Sofia, Bulgaria. Built in the early 4th century CE as Roman baths, it was converted into a Christian church within the ancient walls of Serdica, which served as the capital of Dacia Mediterranea during the Roman and Byzantine periods [1]. It is considered the oldest surviving building in modern Sofia and remains in use by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church [1].
