Uçan ağıl

Ucan agil is a Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age campsite near Sirab village in the Babek district of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan, at 1,200 m elevation. Excavated from 2015 to 2017 by an Azerbaijani-French team, the site shows occupation from c. 4800-4600 BC and again during the Kura-Araxes period (3100-2400 BC). Finds include painted bowls, straw ceramics, Kura-Araxes pottery, and a 166-gram pure copper ingot near an Early Bronze Age hearth, demonstrating that mobile pastoralists at small mountain camps participated in copper procurement networks.
