AzerbaijanGovurqala (also Gyaur-kala) is an early fortified city of the 3rd-2nd millennium BC, located near Shahktakhty village, 35 km northwest of Nakhchivan city in Azerbaijan, on the left bank of the Araks River [1]. The site has been included by the Azerbaijani government in the list of archaeological monuments of national significance [1].
