(9th–8th c. BC) Mərdangöl Necropolis is an ancient burial complex in Kharabagilan, Ordubad, Nakhchivan. Grave monument structures resemble the Khalikeshan necropolis in Orduban district[1]. Excavations yielded gray and pink ceramic vessels, with painted pottery less common[1]. Artifacts include iron fragments, bronze ornaments, and numerous beads—some being cylindrical seals carved from white stone[1]. Researchers date the necropolis to the 9th–8th centuries BC[1].
