(4500–3000 BC) The Oldendorfer Totenstatt is a group of six Neolithic burial mounds and megalithic sites in the Luhe valley near Oldendorf, Lower Saxony, Germany. It comprises three dolmens (sites 1, 3 and 4) and three tumuli (sites 2, 5 and 6). Site 1 originally measured 45 metres in length, making it one of the larger dolmen structures in the region, though most of it has been destroyed. Site 3 retains an earth embankment extending 43 metres, with most of its external stones still intact[1][2][3].
