The Alam Bridge inscriptions are ancient rock carvings located near the Alam Bridge in northern Pakistan, dating to around the 3rd century BC[1]. The inscriptions are written in both Kharoshti and Brahmi scripts, which were used in the ancient Indian subcontinent[1]. The carvings primarily depict animal figures and Buddhist Stupas, indicating the region's significance during the early Buddhist period[1][2]. These archaeological remains provide valuable insights into the early Buddhist culture and artistic traditions of Gilgit-Baltistan[2].
