Anundshög is a tumulus near Västerås in Västmanland, Sweden, and the largest in the country, measuring 60 metres in diameter and about 9 metres in height [1]. Radiocarbon dating of a fireplace beneath the mound indicates construction between 210 and 540 AD, placing it in the late Iron Age [1]. The mound sits near Badelundaåsen, a ridge where ancient trade routes and waterways converged [2]. The site's name is traditionally associated with the legendary King Anund, though this connection remains speculative [1].
