Furby

Furby is a locality in Badelunda parish, Vasteraas Municipality, Sweden, situated near Anundshog -- Sweden's largest burial mound (9 m high, 64 m diameter), built between the 5th and 11th centuries AD. The Badelunda area was a major Iron Age power center with around 500 visible graves along the ridge, including 12 burial mounds, 5 ship settings, 14 standing stones, and a rune stone. The area served as a gathering place for legal assemblies (Things) and lay at the crossroads of major trade routes linking Lake Malar communities with northern regions.
