Kadyanda

Ancient Lycian city situated on a steep mountain over 900 m above sea level near modern Uzumlu, 19 km northeast of Fethiye, Turkey. Monuments and inscriptions date back to the 5th century BC, with the Lycian name Kadawanti. Remains include a stadium with six rows of seating, a theatre with 18 rows, baths from Vespasian's reign, a Doric temple, and polygonal city walls. A member of the Lycian League during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. First official excavations began in 2022.
