Alinda was an ancient Carian city in inland Caria, Asia Minor (modern Turkey), identified with the Hellenistic Alexandria ad Latmum [1]. Perched on a defensible mountain overlooking a fertile plain, the site features a nearly intact agora (marketplace) [1] [2]. Archaeological findings include a necropolis of Carian tombs and sarcophagi [1] [2].
