Dolmen of Guadalperal

The Dolmen of Guadalperal is a megalithic monument in eastern Extremadura, Spain, dating to around 3000 BC [1]. Located in the Valdecañas reservoir on the Tagus River near Peraleda de la Mata, it comprises 150 granite orthostats [1]. The structure is often called the "Spanish Stonehenge" due to its resemblance to the English monument [1]. The dolmen is only visible when the reservoir's water level drops sufficiently, having been submerged since the reservoir's creation in the 1960s [1].
