Dolmen de Lácara

The Dolmen del Prado de Lácara is a megalithic passage tomb located northwest of Mérida in Badajoz province, Spain. Built during the late Neolithic toward the end of the 4th millennium BC or early 3rd millennium BC, it is one of the most monumental and well-preserved megalithic monuments in Extremadura[1]. The structure sits beside the EX-214 road connecting Aljucén with La Nava de Santiago[1]. Due to its significance, it was declared a site of cultural interest in 1912 and later designated a National Monument in 1931[1].
