Kalakača Archaeological Site, Beška

Kalakača is an archaeological site near Beška village in Syrmia, Serbia, dating to 1500–500 BC (Bronze Age to Iron Age). The site contains settlement remains from this period, representing prehistoric occupation of the Sava River basin. Archaeological evidence from similar sites in Vojvodina reveals bronze production, pottery traditions, and burial practices characteristic of Bronze Age and early Iron Age cultures in the Pannonian Plain.[1]
