Bela Reka, Šabac

Bela Reka is a village in the Sabac municipality of western Serbia where significant Roman-era archaeological remains have been uncovered. Excavations revealed a villa rustica dating to the 1st-2nd century AD, along with high-quality golden and silver jewelry, various vessels, and a hoard of 322 coins. The wealth of the finds suggests this was the estate of a prosperous landowner during the Roman occupation of the region known as Moesia Superior.
