PortugalA Roman stone bridge in the village of Gimonde, crossing the River Onor approximately 7 km east of Braganca in northeastern Portugal. The bridge features an easel-shaped tray resting on six equal arches and includes an eye to channel water to a mill. Built during the Roman presence in Tras-os-Montes, it integrated the Via XVII connecting Bracara Augusta (Braga) to Asturica Augusta (Astorga) via Aquae Flaviae (Chaves). Also known locally as Ponte Velha (Old Bridge).
