Wilca

Archaeological complex in the Utcubamba Province, Amazonas Region, Peru, near the Comboca stream valley in the Cajaruro District. The site contains numerous circular houses built with rock slabs and large walls reaching 4 meters in height, along with agricultural terraces. Attributed to the Chachapoyas culture, Wilca holds significant historical value for understanding this civilization's presence at latitudes far north of their typical settlement areas, though archaeological research remains limited.
