Pirca Pirca, La Libertad

Pirca Pirca is an archaeological settlement in the highlands of Peru's La Libertad Region, situated on a mountain of the same name in the Bolívar Province, Uchumarca District. The site dates to 1500–500 BC, spanning the Early Horizon to Late Formative periods. Archaeological evidence includes massive carved stone pillars and architectural structures that highlight its significance in pre-Columbian Andean culture. Pirca Pirca was declared a National Cultural Heritage of Peru by the National Institute of Culture through Resolución Directoral Nacional No. 075-INC on December 30, 1998 [1][2].
