Purunllacta, Cheto

Purunllacta (Cheto) is a Chachapoya culture settlement in Peru's Amazonas Region [1]. Located in the Chachapoyas Province's Cheto District on a mountain of the same name, it lies northeast of another Purunllacta site in Soloco District [1]. The name derives from Quechua "purun" (wild/savage) and "llaqta" (place) [1].
