PeruPurunllacta (Cheto) is a settlement in Peru's Amazonas Region [1] [2]. Located in the Chachapoyas Province's Cheto District on a mountain of the same name, it lies northeast of another Purunllacta site in Soloco District [1]. The name derives from Quechua "purun" (wild/savage) and "llaqta" (place) [1] [3].
