Carachupa

Carachupa is an archaeological site with rock art in northern Peru's Amazonas region. Located near the village of Carachupa in Lonya Grande District, the site features prehistoric rock paintings and carvings created by ancient inhabitants of the Marañón Valley[1]. The site represents part of the rich cultural heritage of the Marañón Valley, one of Peru's most historically significant regions for understanding pre-Columbian human settlement and artistic expression.
