Ñawpallaqta, Fajardo

Nawpallaqta (Quechua for "ancient place") is an archaeological site in Peru's Ayacucho Region, Victor Fajardo Province, on the border of the Cayara and Huancapi districts [1]. Situated near Anta Qaqa at an elevation of 4,030 meters on the eastern side of the Kinwamayu valley, the site represents a high-altitude settlement in the Andean highlands [1] [2].
