Xpuhil is a Maya archaeological site in Campeche, Mexico, near the modern town of Xpujil within the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve along Federal Highway 186[1]. The site name means "cat's tail" in reference to local vegetation[1]. The area contains other significant Maya sites including Becan, Chicanná and Calakmul[1].
