Xihuacan is a Mesoamerican archaeological site on the Costa Grande of Guerrero, Mexico, near La Soledad de Maciel, Zihuatanejo and Petatlán[1]. Occupied for over 3,000 years by three distinct cultures, the site shows contact with the Teotihuacan and Olmec civilizations[1]. Earlier finds at the site include the King of La Chole stele and Mesoamerican ballcourt rings, though formal excavations only began recently[1].
