Xihuacan

Xihuacan is a Mesoamerican archaeological site on the Costa Grande of Guerrero, Mexico, near La Soledad de Maciel, Zihuatanejo and Petatlán [1]. Occupied for over 3,000 years by three distinct cultures, the site shows contact with the Teotihuacan and Olmec civilizations [1]. Earlier finds at the site include the King of La Chole stele and Mesoamerican ballcourt rings, though formal excavations only began recently [1].
