MexicoAguada Fénix is a Preclassic Maya archaeological site in Tabasco, Mexico, near the Guatemala border, discovered by aerial lidar survey in 2020[1]. The massive earthen platform stretches 1,400 m and dates to 1000-800 BC, making it the oldest and largest known Maya ceremonial center[1][2].
