Bojjanna Konda

Bojjannakonda is a Buddhist rock-cut cave complex on a hillock near Sankaram village in Andhra Pradesh, established between the 4th and 9th centuries AD when Buddhism dominated the region [1]. The site features monolithic stupas surrounding the rock-cut platforms of a large Maha stupa, with a brick-built dome [2]. Alongside neighboring Lingalakonda, it forms a Buddhist archaeological cluster in ancient Kalinga [1][2].
