A group of Buddhist monuments near Kamavarapukota, Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, dating from the 3rd-2nd century BCE to the 5th-6th century CE. Known as "Andhra Ajanta," the site predates the famous Ajanta and Ellora caves. It features rock-cut caves including the Vritta Chaitya with a vaulted domical ceiling, brick viharas, a chaitya hall, and over 60 hilltop votive stupas. The complex is associated with Hinayana Buddhism and the great Buddhist logician Dignaga. Protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.
