Lygourio is a small town in the Argolis prefecture of Greece, built at the foot of Mount Arachnaion at 370 m elevation. It lies near the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus, the most important healing centre of the ancient Greek and Roman world. Nearby landmarks include the famous Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus with its exceptional acoustics, the Mycenaean-era Arkadiko Bridge, and a rare Greek pyramid dating to approximately the 4th century BC, built of limestone blocks measuring 14 by 12 m.
