Rough Tor

Rough Tor is an archaeologically rich tor on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, standing at 400 metres above sea level as Cornwall's second highest point. The summit features a Neolithic tor enclosure encircled by rough stone walls aligned with natural outcrops, with terraces believed to be foundations of circular wooden houses. Over 100 Bronze Age hut circles cluster on its southern slopes, representing more than a thousand years of settlement across multiple phases. Nearby lie the Fernacre and Stannon stone circles, numerous cairns, and a memorial to the 43rd Wessex Division.
