Credenhill Camp is an Iron Age univallate hillfort in Herefordshire, one of the largest in Britain at approximately 20 hectares, occupied from c.750 BC to 45 AD. The single rampart encircled the contour about 100 feet below the summit, and the interior appears to have been carefully planned with closely packed back-to-back rectangular housing, suggesting a large, organized population. Finds include Malvern Hills pottery and briquetage from salt production. The Woodland Trust acquired the site in 2002 and conducted archaeological excavations between 2007 and 2009. The Roman town of Magnis at nearby Kenchester succeeded the hillfort after the Roman conquest.
