BulgariaAbritus was a major Roman fortified city in the province of Moesia Inferior, founded as a military camp near modern Razgrad, Bulgaria [1] [2]. Excavations revealed the largest Late Antique gold treasure found in Bulgaria: 835 coins weighing 4 kg [1] [3]. The archaeological reserve, established in 1984, spans 250 acres [3] [4].
