ArmeniaBaghaberd is an Armenian fortress (4th–12th c. AD) perched on a ridge at 1,438 m elevation, overlooking the Voghji River, approximately 14 km northwest of Kapan in Syunik Province[1]. The fortress occupies a strategically commanding position visible from the main highway, located above the confluence of the Voghji and Gezier streams[2].
