Zona Arqueológica de Cholula

Cholula was a powerful pre-Columbian religious center in Mesoamerica, with origins tracing to at least the 2nd century BC and earlier village settlements predating this by millennia[1]. Located just west of modern Puebla, it functioned as a major trading outpost[1]. The site features the Great Pyramid--the largest in the Americas and the world's largest pyramid by volume at 4.45 million cubic meters[1].
