The Shengavit Settlement is an Early Bronze Age archaeological site in present-day Yerevan on a hill southeast of Yerevan Lake. Inhabited from approximately 3000 to 2500 BC during the Kura-Araxes (Shengavitian) period, with reuse until 2200 BC, the six-hectare settlement was a regional center supported by grain surplus production and metallurgy[1]. Its monumental 4-meter-wide stone wall encircled the settlement[1]. Three outer villages—Moukhannat Tepe, Khorumbulagh, and Tairov—were identified beyond the walls[1].
