The Tomb of Darius II (c. 423-404 BC) is a rock-cut royal tomb at Naqsh-e Rostam, the Achaemenid necropolis located about 13 km northwest of Persepolis in Fars Province, Iran. It is the leftmost of four cross-shaped royal tombs carved high into the cliff face, alongside those of Artaxerxes I, Darius I, and Xerxes I. The facade depicts the king on a platform before a fire altar, praying to Ahuramazda, whose winged symbol floats above. An entrance in the center leads to a burial chamber with a sarcophagus.
