2630 BC: The Layer Pyramid is a ruined step pyramid of the 3rd Dynasty located in the necropolis of Zawyet El Aryan[1]. Its ownership is uncertain but may belong to Pharaoh Khaba[1]. The pyramid's architecture closely resembles the Buried Pyramid of Sekhemkhet, firmly dating it to the 3rd Dynasty[1].
