Pacopampa

Pacopampa is a Formative period (1200–500 BC) temple complex in the northern highlands of Peru's Cajamarca region[1]. It features massive carved pillars made from cut and polished stone[1]. The site represents an early monumental ceremonial center in the Andean highlands, with ownership and preservation overseen by the National University of San Marcos through its Rural Andean History Seminar[1].
