Aghanaglack

A Neolithic dual court tomb in Ballintempo Forest, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, dated to approximately 4000-2000 BC. The monument consists of two two-chambered galleries placed back to back, sharing a common backstone, with the southwest court roughly semicircular and the northeast court half-oval in shape. Excavated by Prof. Oliver Davies in 1938, the tomb yielded burned bone fragments of children and a youth, Neolithic pottery, flint implements, a stone bead, and barbed-and-tanged arrowheads indicating Early Bronze Age activity. Some artifacts are on display at Enniskillen Museum.
