Yuraq Mach'ay

Yuraq Mach'ay is a rock art site in Peru's Pasco Region, featuring prehistoric paintings [1]. Located in the Daniel Alcides Carrión Province, Chacayan District, the site sits at 3,991 meters (13,094 ft) elevation on the slopes of Pukara, north of Cerro de Pasco [1]. The rock paintings represent rare evidence of early Andean artistic expression in the high-altitude Andes [1].
