Türkiye(3rd c. AD) One of three burial mounds in central Bergama (modern-day Turkey). The tumulus measures 140 metres in diameter and 26 metres high, requiring roughly 80,000 cubic metres of earth for its construction [1]. It is considered the highest open tomb in Europe featuring a pyramid-type structure, and may prove to be a globally unique discovery once fully excavated [1].
