Turuñuelo

El Turuñuelo is a Tartessian archaeological site in Guareña, Badajoz, Spain, representing the late phase of this civilization in the Middle Guadiana Valley during the 5th century BCE, after Tartessos declined in the Guadalquivir region around 500 BCE [1]. It consists of a massive two-story building, approximately 2,500 years old, which was ritually set on fire and buried following a hecatomb-like ceremony [1].
