The Xerez Cromlech is a megalithic complex dating to the 5th or 4th millennium BCE, located near Monsaraz in the Alentejo region of Portugal, close to the Spanish border. Due to the construction of the Alqueva Dam, the monument was relocated to its present site near Orada Convent before the original location was flooded in 2002[1].
