The Menhir of Patalou is a megalithic standing stone located in the Nisa municipality, Portalegre District of Portugal, approximately 5 km from the town of Nisa [1]. Dating to the 5th millennium BCE, it is believed to be the second oldest example of a menhir identified in Western Europe [1].
