PeruSechin Bajo is a large archaeological site in Peru's Sechin River valley, 12 km from the Pacific Ocean and 330 km northwest of Lima[1]. Ruins dating from 3500 BCE to 1300 BCE make it one of the oldest civilization centers in the Western Hemisphere and among the oldest on Earth[1]. The site is part of a cluster of ancient ruins in the Casma and Sechin River valleys[1].
