Temple of Antas, Fluminimaggiore

The Temple of Antas is a Carthaginian-Roman temple in Fluminimaggiore, southern Sardinia, Italy, built over a sanctuary dedicated to the god Sid Addir, later identified with the Nuragic deity Sardus Pater Babai[1]. The site is located in an area rich in silver and lead deposits[1]. Contains remains of a Roman temple built atop earlier Carthaginian structures. This multi-layered sacred site was worshipped from the Nuragic period through Roman times, representing continuity of religious practice across centuries.
