Ancient City of Terina

Terina was an ancient Greek city of Magna Graecia located on the north shore of the Gulf of Saint Euphemia in Calabria, approximately 20 km from modern Lamezia Terme. The site was discovered in 1922 by archaeologist Paolo Orsi near the modern village of Sant'Eufemia Vetere. Systematic archaeological excavations began in 1997, revealing walls, houses, and ceramic artifacts. Coins, inscriptions, and other artefacts retrieved from the site are displayed in the Museo Archeologico Lametino in Lamezia Terme[1].
