Ivinj Archaeological Site

A multi-period archaeological site near Pirovac, Dalmatia, Croatia, designated a protected cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture in 2012. The site centers on a Roman villa rustica from the 1st century AD that once featured residential quarters, workshops, warehouses, slave accommodations, and thermal baths with underfloor heating. In the 5th-6th centuries, an Early Christian basilica and baptistery were added, and the medieval Church of Saint Martin was later built on the villa's remains by Croats, with services held there annually on November 11.
