Careyeros Hill

Careyeros Hill is a ridgetop archaeological site in Nayarit, Mexico, featuring drystone constructions dating to approximately 200 BC [1]. The complex includes an astronomical observatory approximately 34 metres (112 ft) long, a priest's dwelling, and a ceremonial platform [1]. Scholars attribute the site to the Aztlan culture, which exhibited influences from the Toltec and Huichol cultures of Jalisco [1]. The observatory functioned as both a celestial observation point and ceremonial center [1].
