Awkimarka, Apurímac

Awkimarka is an archaeological site in Peru's Apurímac Region, situated on a mountain of the same name at approximately 4,000 metres (13,123 ft) elevation [1]. Located in the Andahuaylas Province, the site occupies the border zone between the Pomacocha and Tumay Huaraca districts [1].
